a comprehensive package that covers everything from concept development to detailed design, including precise lighting plans, specifications, lighting details and a guided preliminary budget. this is perfect for projects where clients, architects or interior designers can entrust the lighting to us, allowing them to focus fully on their core expertise.
the process involves:
BRIEFING - an initial briefing of the project, discussing spaces, finishes, budget, general constraints, and designer preferences conducted via zoom.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN (SD1) - upon receipt of complete briefing documents, a concept document illustrating the lighting layout, conceptual images and ideas will be issued to the client.
SD REVIEW - upon submission of first issue of concept, a design review with the client will be conducted to present and will be a session for clarifications and support.
SCHEMATIC DESIGN (SD2) - any comments made within the concept review shall be captured in the final concept document. one revision of concept will be allowed in this process.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (DD1) - upon approval of concept and receipt of frozen architectural / interior drawings, we will commence the design development of the project. the deliverables will include a lighting legend, lighting plans, architectural and joinery lighting details, luminaire specification and a budget guide.
DD REVIEW - a design review in the form of either online session / back and forth of markups for purposes of clarifications, queries, comments and support.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (DD2) - all comments agreed upon shall be captured in DD2 and will be issued as final revision. the deliverables will include a lighting legend, lighting plans, architectural and joinery lighting details, luminaire specification and a budget guide.

ideal for those exploring the benefits of working with a lighting designer or managing projects with a tight budget. this package includes expert advice, mark-ups, sketches, and supplier or luminaire recommendations—delivered without the complexity of CAD drawings—providing a guide for consultants to incorporate into their formal documentation.
the process involves:
BRIEFING - an initial briefing of the project, discussing spaces, finishes and designer preferences conducted via zoom.
PRELIMINARY LIGHTING MARK-UP - upon receipt of complete briefing documents from client, a marked-up plan reflecting the lighting layout will be issued. this will come with suggested lighting details to support the documentation.
DESIGN REVIEW - a zoom call to discuss the lighting plans with the client. it will also be a session for clarifications and support.
REVISION - one round of revision will be allowed in this package which will be captured based on the comments provided in the design review.
FINAL LIGHTING MARK-UP - upon agreement of the revisions, the final lighting mark-up, suggested lighting details and light fitting / supplier recommendations shall be issued.
📞 lighting design consultation
a virtual meeting conducted via zoom. it’s an interactive design session where we discuss your project, explore ideas, and provide expert advice and direction, collaborating to develop tailored lighting solutions that perfectly align with your vision and elevate your space.
LIGHTING STRATEGY SESSION - client will be required to send through briefing documents such as floor plans, elevations, perspectives / 3D images at least 24 hours prior to the booked meeting. the session will run for 60mins where we will be providing technical advice relating to lighting aspect of the project, suggesting locations, strategies and light fitting selections.
LIGHTING SUPPORT - an on-going support session for existing clients
